Objectives of activities carried out:

Correction of the problems shown by the partners.
Creation of a web platform where the partners can report technical problems encountered in the portal during their activities inclusion of content.

Description of activities carried out:

We've created a methodology to have a clear situation about the bugs that the web platform on the portal have.
To do this, and achieve our aim, we've used the Mantis platform, an open source project very common in this kind of works.
Mantis is a free popular web-based bugtracking system. It is written in the PHP scripting language and works with MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL databases and a webserver. Mantis has been installed on Windows, Linux, Mac OS, OS/2, and others. Almost any web browser should be able to function as a client. It is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL).

We tried several different Issue Tracking systems and we did not find any, whether large or small, that overall met the needs that we have. Mantis is perfect for all of our development projects.

Outcomes:

An organized scheme to collect reports in order to optimize the corrections on all platforms and on all language courses

Evaluation of the work undertaken:

The Mantis platform help us a lot to understand all the problems encountred by the partners. Correct the bugs and send the reports to the partners it's easier and more efficient
