Objectives of activities carried out:

Description of activities carried out:

Bildungswerk had to engage staff for some spezialized project activities like the tutor for the German language course and for dissemination activities to involve companies into the project. Together we discussed strategies for dissemination and created documents which supported the project goals. Participation on the educational fair "didacta" not only supported dissemination activities but also where important for implementation of the portal in the official adult educational system. Since February 2009 one of the main issues for Bildungswerk was to contact SMEs for participating in the portal.An own office room with telephone and internetconnections was established and first we started with a list of 144 companies including contact persons from region Hanover. All of them were informed by phone and mail about the possibilities in using the portal.After experience with companies reactions we did not only akquisitions of companies in the region Hanover but in whole Germany. Our largest workshop with more of 40 participants was held in Berlin.

Outcomes:

Several documents, German brochure and invitations were prepared to involve companies, participants and institutes for adult education into the project. Power Point Presentations were created for dissemination purposes.
Interim activity and interim financial report were sent to Pixel.
Documentation of all participating companies was prepared and sent to Pixel with end of September. Photomaterial from workshop and dissemination event "didacta" sent to Pixel.
4 certificates (basic and independant level; 3-9 moduls; 10 moduls)for participants were created and sent to Pixel.
More then 3 000 mailings( post and some hundred e-mails)for dissemination purposes done.
Administration of companies and participants.

Evaluation of the work undertaken:

The work carried out was in many ways satisfactory, for instance creation of German moduls and backup materials.Coordination, Supervision and support by Pixel was excellent. In general work for the project to be done was much more than assumed, especially to reach companies for participation was very time consuming and at least we could get enough participants but not so many companies as necessary. There exists some obstacles (e.g. data protection of participating forms; public image of call center activities, access to companies etc.)we didn't consider from the beginning of the project design.
